1. Am on a junket with AB to Vermont. We have stumbled into sugaring season, and this sounds excellent. 2. I’m glad to have a little time away, mostly from the density of the population. Lately I just feel crowded by the houses everywhere. Every space is jamming in some mixed use development. I’ll be glad to wake up and look out our window at the lake and some trees. 3. Anne suggests that perhaps 4 of tomorrows 5 things could be the 4 types of maple syrup. 4. School has been busy and hectic. Left tidy plans for the sub on my clean desk. If I planned for every day like I was having a sub I would be such a happy camper. There it would be all clean and tidy and ready to go. 5. Getting over a cold, wish I had brought some cough syrup. Wonder if that is one of the 4 types of syrup.

Well, as we now know, the four types of syrup are: Vermont Fancy, Vermont Grade A Medium Amber, Vermont Grade A Dark Amber and Vermont Grade B. It was great on pancakes, and on many other things and I can highly recommend a drink made with maple syrup, Canadian Whiskey, vanilla, milk and crushed ice. It’s my own concoction called a “Downhill Racer.” Yum!!!

Oh and the trip was AWESOME!
